What I ate for Lunch Today

Remember when this was the most common complaint people had about social media?

Something like, “no one cares what you ate for lunch today.”

And then, one day, social media wasn’t that anymore.
Instead, it devolved into threadbois and political psyops.

Anyways, not what I came here to write about.

For lunch today, I ate some slices of bread from a baguette topped with olive oil, pepper, and havarti cheese.

On the side, I had some Kalamata and Halkidiki olives.

Technically speaking, this took more fixtures than would the expediency of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

But, it gave me the wonderful sense that I was eating about as simply and as close to whole as I could manage.

And that has made all the difference.
