Tour de France: Drinking Raids

Have been thinking about why it feels like learning about things like this promotes a sense of other-world-ness. I just think, “this kind of charm and uniqueness is gone.” I’m not sure it really is, and one could choose to live this way, but the culture does something to enforce or not enforce a belief that this is an acceptable way to be any longer.
